Taemin had never been so tired like this.
He wasn’t tired because of too much schedules.
He wasn’t tired because of the rumors spreading in the internet.
He wasn’t tired being a SHINee member.
No, he wasn’t tired by any of these. After all, he considers it as rife in the world of show business; plus, he is happy whenever he makes someone happy.
He was just tired of waiting.
He wasn’t really sure about the reason why. Or maybe he was just confused. But he wasn’t being unreasonable, or what?!?
Maybe he was tired of being confused for the long wait.
It had been a long time since he entered SHINee, was it two or three years ago? Well, he wasn’t really sure. Everything seemed occurring just- yesterday, as if everything was a photograph being taken by a single flash.
He stretched his arms and reached for the small photograph. It was taken very recently, just after their comeback but it looked old, thin scratches were being seen- a sign of competition just to get the photograph (well obviously, it would be Key who he was competing with…). He smiled and slightly wiped off the dust attached onto the picture, the blurred image became clearer. It was a typical shot of SHINee- colorful clothes, tight jeans, along with their colorful boots, really typical…
He turned his body sideways allowing himself to relax. He stared at the picture again and briefly caught the sight of Minho’s sheepish smile.
Choi Minho.
Was he the one that Taemin’s confused with?
It wasn’t a bit long when they’ve seen each others faces- smiling. It was like just a few minutes ago before he entered his room and rested. Everyday Minho would smile and say hi and so is Taemin. They were more like brothers. Sometimes, Minho would ask Taemin to play with him his favorite sport, or they would go eat their favorite snacks, or even share their secrets.
But that was his problem.
For Minho, Taemin is a brother.
For Taemin, Minho could have been a lover.
Taemin kept this as his secret for a very long time. He was ashamed of what he feels. Of course, that would make him absolutely gay but, falling in love with his best friend? That’s another story. He tried once, but ended up failing because of nervousness. Well, who wouldn’t? Sometimes, he would wonder, “Can hyung go bend his sexuality a bit just to be my boyfriend?” but no matter how much he would wonder that, it was completely impossible and no more.
Few days later, Minho had fallen in love with a girl.
Few days later, Taemin cried.
Few days later, Onew came into the picture.
Taemin wasn’t really expecting the whole news about Minho and Yuri. He thought it was just a rumor spreading around the busy streets of Korea and on the internet, but what shocked him most is that Minho came home that evening and announced that Yuri was officially his girlfriend. Yes, Taemin knows that he should be happy for his hyung since he found the one that would make him happy but no and surely someone can easily understand why.
Later that evening, Onew came into his room and tried talking to him. Taemin pushed him away, he wanted to be alone. He wanted to be alone. The next thing he knew, Onew was hugging him. He never dared to push him away ‘coz everything seemed to be perfect. As if the jigsaw puzzle was now solved.

For Onew, he could have been a lover.
Well, right now, he really is.
