Once in a while, the Gods will reach out and bitch-slap me.  You know, just because They can.

Or, sometimes, I provoke Them to the point that They really have no choice.

I'm dumb like that.

Mostly my distress had to do with the intimation that I was not, in fact, walking the walk. I have walked the walk plenty in my time.

If you have been given this task, it is because you are strong enough to bear it, and it is clear that you will not walk it alone, which, to me, is another sign that you're going in the right direction.

I'm reminded of Moses when God told him to lead Israel up from Egypt. God asked him, "Who made man's mouth?" And God also sent Aaron to help Moses, just as your friends have circled to help you.
