Jaime hadn't taken Momoko to a regular hospital. He'd called his mother and told her that he was going to the small STAR Labs facility just outside of town. They'd be better equipped to deal with injuries to someone with Blossom's abilities

That probably wasn't going to work, Jaime. But she did appreciate it!

Her eyes flitted open finally, and her breath quickened as she tried to figure out where she was. Last she remembered, she was bursting through the roof of the helicopter and hearing the sound of yet another explosion...

Jaime's fingers stopped moving as she stirred, and he leaned in closer, not sure what to do or say.

Her eyes wandered rapidly over the room, or what she could see of it. The machines looked like medical equipment, but the rest of the room seemed more like she was in a lab...

Which was actually a little soothing, considering where she had spent much of her early years as Blossom. She finally noticed the lack of movement at her forehead and turned to see Jaime sitting there. His face looked so worried!

"Hey," she smiled softly at him.
