Jaime was glad that Momoko had actually let him bully her into resting all weekend, and now she was basically over the flu. A few lingering symptoms, but nothing super serious anymore. Which was a relief. He hated seeing her sick like that, especially when all he could do was fuss

"Do we have another box of tissues?" Momoko came into the room, pulling on her sweater and glancing around. "Not for us. I bought some flowers for everyone since I didn't make chocolates? I hope Portalocity didn't mess up."

"Should be a couple more boxes in the pantry," Jaime answered, absently headed that way.

He handed Momoko the box he'd signed for as he passed her. "You figure out what this is, and I'll find them."

Momoko stuck her tongue out at his back, then wandered over to the couch, peeling back the brown paper as she went.

Oooooh!!

"It's FLOWERS!" She plopped down on the couch and started to pull out the blooms. "Did you send me flowers?! Were you being tricky, Jaime Reyes?"

"I already gave you your Valentines present," Jaime pointed out with a frown. "Does it say who they're from?"
