What a wonderful bunch of family memories. You all sound like real fun people, not afraid to laugh at yourself and each other.
We used to do some "Yankee Swap " gifts at Christmas and try to out-do each other with originality and joke gifts. It's all so fun. One of my favorites was a roll of Christmas decorated toilet paper.
Great story-telling. You write with such a natural voice, I feel like I'm sitting here listening to you instead of reading! :)
