i didn't know you were really considering Auburn! but this makes me happy! what major are you thinking of studying? and have you visited here yet/did you like it? you sound like me last year..very confused/worried... and i procrastinated deciding literally until may 2nd. i ended up being hardcore bama fan deciding to go to auburn for money and because it just felt comfortable here (as much as i hated to admit it at the time because i was so anti=auburn). but anyways, it's not for everyone so i don't want to say it's the way to go. in the end, it's all up to where you think you could really see yourself and where you feel most at home
( ... )
yeah, I'm still considering Furman only for the money. It's a big crazy southern Baptist school so I don't think I'd be happy there. I'm an Alabama fan, but I'm realllllly leaning towards Auburn. I just don't feel comfortable in Tuscaloosa. I visited Auburn's campus but only for a little while. I need to go stay for longer before I decide. I hate decisions. grrrrrrrr. I'd procrastinate until August and completely ruin my summer with uneasiness if they'd let me. but I can't. I only have a couple weeks left to decid and it's scary!
i know what you mean about tuscloosa. i visited auburns campus once briefly last year and UA's probably 3 times hoping it would feel more comfortable but really, it just got worse. if you want to come stay with me, you're MORE than welcome to! the pre-med major is pretty popular here, but i have to warn you because this really disappointed me when i registered last summer...the pre-med, pharmacy and nursing programs here won't take your AP biology credit. you still get the hours counted on your transcript (i think it's 8 hours total if you get a 4 or a 5) but they still require you to take it. it's lame, but the class was so easy after rickard, i was almost glad because it was like a filler class and an easy A. i know that pre-med is a big program at BSC too so you're in good shape either way. but anyways, good luck!
