Hello! I found you over at the crazymeds community and decided to stop by :) I have been taking wellbutrin for almost 6 weeks now and it is wonderful! It wasn't at first though. I suffered all the bad side effects for at least the first 2 weeks. It wasn't until after the 4th week that it really kicked in for me. I am so glad I stuck it out. Actually the very first week I felt kinda good but soon after that I started feeling like I had the flu. A friend of mine suggested I stick it out when I told her I thought perhaps this wasn't the drug for me. I'm so glad I listened. I feel so much better. Not drugged. I wake up earlier and I am more active. I also take 5mg of lexapro for anxiety since wellbutrin is good for depression but it doesn't help with the anxiety. Anyway I hope you don't mind if I add you as I am curious to see how this med works for you. BTW I am a "military brat" I grew up in Camp Pendelton in Cali.
hey. I'd love for you to stop in from time to time. I'd love to hear if other people have suffered from different things as they come up in the next few weeks. I'm sure you know what it feels like to feel isolated in this illness, but its so good to have a community like this were you can share the experience with others who've been through it.
My brother-in- law are stationed at Camp Pendleton! Kelly is Air Force though. Only 3 more years!!

usually, with these newer, more effective medicines, you get increased functionality combined with people noticing an improvement before you actually feel an internal improvement.. If getting housework plus dinner done was a problem before, this is a good sign! Dizziness is fairly common with Wellbutrin, especially starting up...I've been on it for several years and still occasionally get minor dizzy spells. Just leave ladder work to others and you should be ok.
