You are smart to make your own. I have thought about learning to sew, but I would have to invest in the sewing machine, I would like to have lessons and I have to find some space for all this and I have none! It could be done though. Someday, maybe.
I think eventually almost everyone who takes their dolls out of the box and plays with them will find the doll. The one that fits in their heart and becomes the most important one. I love looking at those dolls because they tell me a lot about their owners.
And... THANK YOU for that slug link! I saw a lot of those on TV when I was a kid, and now I never hear about them, so I was starting to think it was a hallucination or something.

:p lol. When I was a toddler seeing them on nearly every program about tropical seas was a lot! XD
