moonlightalice and I were so dead set on finding movers. We really were. We called around, but everybody was very expensive, so we finally settled on one, but were worried about their bad BBB reviews. But then convinced ourselves otherwise and called them... only to find that we'd waited too long

What time are you starting?

Unknown, but as we have to turn in the keys by 5 and they'll want to do a walk-through inspection and we're much better off being out too soon than too late, I would guess in the morning.

My current plan is (barring predictions of rain) to try to get most of the stuff downstairs before I go to pick up the truck, since that way we'll be able to maximize having-the-truck time. (I'm nervous about getting double-charged like last time).

The other reason I want to get this show on the road earlier rather than later is to avoid the rush-hour traffic on the GW (which is probably the best route anyway) that will probably start to get pretty rotten by 4 or 4:30.
