Hmm - I think I might live in one of the few places in the world not to claim to have influenced Tolkien - but I'm sure someone will come up with something for us to claim eventually...

I find the suggestion that Gollum's name really means "rock dove" sort of appealing--not that it resembles anything I've seen of Tolkien's naming processes!
