I feel like this is a daft question, but is there somewhere in Wellington you can buy legit whole grain bread? I can only find a plethora of 'trying to imply it's wholegrain when it's not' breads.

You could try Homestead Health in Cuba mall, or Commonsense organics. Yeah?
Excellent quest; I'd love to hear your success story :D

Found some. Very small loaves, very high price. Looked tasty but well beyond my means unfortunately.

I would firmly recommend Commonsense Organics, they have Every Type of Bread of Awesomeness including Thoroughbread which is the best gluten-free bread in the Universe.

have you tried the bread seller often at Willis st vege market? i think they are from kapiti coast. variety of types of loaves all natural-like, and they weigh like half a kilo each or something. of course they may be one of the implicationary impostors but they seem pretty into good bread. stuff i've had from there has been tasty.
