I agree with this so much, I have been on many buses recently that have run red lights through the city central, but I am also a pedestrian in the city most of the time, it is both terrifying being on a bus that continues to barge through the skinny streets not caring for pedestrians, but also to be a pedestrian.
If I note down any bus #'s that are running red lights I will also place a complaint cause this concerns me a lot too.

I see this ALL THE TIME - I am constantly having to skirt around buses that have run a red light and wound up stuck across a pedestrian crossing, forcing me to circle out into oncoming traffic to get across.

What I've started doing is noting down the bus number and time, and the numberplate if I'm able, and laying complaints with the bus services. I'm not entirely comfortable with it, because I honestly don't know if the best fix is simply to have the occasional individual driver reprimanded when they clearly need a better paradigm throughout the entire company and its driver education. But I'm not sure how else to tackle it. :/
