[She's never talked to Taiwan like that. She's rarely talked to anyone like that. But this isn't up for debate. She doesn't want to see anyone die right now. She's still a ways away, having stopped to look at something while Taiwan continued on.] The entrance is two metres ahead of you!
[ Taiwan would protest, but even she knows when it's better to oblige. Alerted by the urgency in Canada's voice, she immediately heads for the basement and gets inside. ]
[And then this happens. When Canada finally rushes inside, she's breathing heavily, and alone.]
Everyone's staying inside. [She says it like it's not up for discussion (because it's not) as she finishes wedging the half-destroyed door they've been using as a hatch into place. After a moment, she hastily wipes at her face, then turns to Taiwan.] Are you all right?
[They hadn't strayed too far from each other while looking for survivors and supplies. Holland had stopped, watching the burned looking truck from the moment it turned erratically onto their street.
Even though it might have been somebody helpful, he had a bad feeling in his core. The bad feeling was hurried along by gunfire. He'll duck behind some rubble.]
[Canada has to agree that it's a good idea to get down, and so immediately Canada drops to a low crouch, sure to be hidden well behind something as she looks at him. For all this military-type planning has been growing on her, she'll still defer to his judgement if he has any grand ideas of what to do here.
And right now, she'd really just like to be told what to do to make this whole thing go away.]
[He'll risk it, staying low and moving the short distance to where she's hiding. The truck hasn't reached their house quite yet, but he can still hear shots close.]
[Belgium somehow managed to avoid the cannibals on day two by hiding out in the basement. But she knew from day one that it wouldn't be long...that was when the air started to get to her. Around day two she started feeling weak and felt like she was going to faint if she dug for anymore supplies. Now she's just propped up against some boxes in the basement.]
[Canada's certainly starting to feel exhausted and weak herself, but a whole lot of determination to not let anyone else down is keeping her going, moving around the basement every so often to check on those she has with her in there. This time, she brings Belgium some water, sitting down beside her.]

But I can't find-- [ Hong Kong, Macau. Charles. Rorona. Anybody she hasn't seen these past few days. It isn't often that Taiwan worries like this. ]

Not too good.
Oh and thanks for the water, Canada. I needed it.
[She takes a sip of water, but only ends up spitting it back up a few seconds later, coughing.]

You're welcome.
It'll be okay, you know. Everything will go back to normal and we'll be fine.
