So, over the weekend I made the potentially-rash decision to rid myself of my debilitating coffee addiction. It's gone surprisingly well, considering I was consuming disgustingly large amounts per day for quite a long time. I've taken up tea-drinking instead, but it's only a cup a day, which is pretty good ( Read more... )

All I ever do is complain about my neck of the northern part of the city. As much as Pembina may suck, it's got nothin' on Henderson (except, I guess, garrish light pollution).

Cheers on a new home base of sorts.

(Oh, and I may have called you James by accident at the Toad on Monday. I know your real name, really ;) )

haha but I didn't even live on the Pembina strip, I just went to school there. My parents are wayyyy over in Whyte Ridge! (which is even worse)

Charleswood is sort of a weird community. At least it has the forest and that sweet-ass park! haha that sounded sarcastic but it wasn't.

well at least you gave up coffee voluntarily. i was forced to when i developed this pesky allergic reaction to caffiene. you're probably going to loose 10 pounds

and also, i'm a tea drinker by (week) day and a coffee drinker by evening/weekend.
i find tea to be a smoother "wake up" while coffee tends to hit me hours after consuming it and makes me jittery. but it's dark thickness is just so damn good that i can't quit it altogether.

yeah, I think coffee is just a lot harsher and drinking too much is definitely a recipe for disaster!
