Guh. I love how this doesn't try to be more than it is - a story about growing up and changing to accommodate the differences in our lives. I though for sure that there would be this drawn-out period of angsting, but instead the pair just decide to get their shit together in their own way - much more realistic, I think. This is a lovely piece - thank you for sharing.
