To add to my 8 million other posts today. . . I have an funny story. . . . if you care click below. It's madd long
I went to the mall that has the closest Hollister today. If you live near me it's King of Prussia Mall.
Anyway.
I go to that mall maybe once a week cause I have free mornings, and I don't work til the afternoons.
So I go. . . I'm tired of the malls around me anyway, and I like the drive it's peaceful. . .me and my itrip tear it up.
So today I went to pick up a few things that I updated about earlier, and then I went to abercrombie kids to pick up a tank top for my friend (a girl).
While I was in the store looking for this tank top and waiting for my friend to call me back and explain what it looked like, the manager asked me if I needed help.
I told her I was picking something up for a friend, yada yada, and I was waiting for her to call me.
So she asked me if I was in earlier this week (Monday) and I said yes, then she asked me if I was the guy looking for the shirt that the kid has on in the front picture of the store, and I said yes.
Then she said to me that I could have first dibs on the shirt and a discount if I worked there.
And I laughed and walked away.
She followed and asked if I lived around KOP and I said no, I live in Jersey.
But I explained to her that I don't work mornings. . .blah blah.
Then she asked if my job was near KOP and I said no. . .it's in Jersey.
So then she says. . .How would you feel about maybe a part time job here, since you have free mornings and all.
And I said. . .Hmm. . .that would be cool.
Then she was like, well let me get your contact info and I will set something up.
I said ok cool, and I gave it to her.
After that she asked me my availablilty and I gave it to her, and she said. . . Are you doing anything right now? and I said aside from waiting for my friend to call me about her shirt. . . nope.
Cool she said, I'll be right back I just need to answer the back door.
I said ok cool.
In the meantime my friend called and I found the shirt.
Then she came back out and said. . .did you find everything I said yes, so she rang me up.
While ringing me up she said it's a really easy job, as you can see were just dressing the mannequins.
I said oh ok I used to work at AE so I am familiar with it all. . .and her jaw dropped.
She said oh ok so you have retail experience.
I said yup plenty of it cause I used to work in a music store too.
Then she said . . . So Keith are you free Sunday morning? I know it's Superbowl Sunday and all, but just wondering.
And I responded it just depends what time, and she said 10, and I said well I only have church Sunday morning, but otherwise I am free.
So then she says. . . . Great! Come in at 10, bring a drivers license and a voided check if you want direct deposit, and I'll have you fill out your paperwork.
I said umm. . .ok?
Then she said great well I will see you Sunday Keith THX so much for coming in today.
So. . .i got a job today.
To top that in case you didn't notice, there was NO interview or anything. . . .that's rather random and wierd. but o well.
So if you caught my earlier post about the discounts. . .that's why I asked, cause I figure I can't fit in the kids clothes, so would I get a discount on the adult stuff?
