Poor Ianto! *hugs protectively* I can't imagine how painful it must be to have to relive those experiences much less tell complete strangers about them. Of course Strutt would pick up on the fact that Ianto said he hated older men but now he's with Jack. I will cheer so loudly when he finally gets taken down. Oh please tell me Strutt will get taken down!

Has Lloyd NOT told Strutt the full significance of the stained carpet? Because if she was living, how could Ianto's mum possibly stay away from the trial?

Or does Strutt know, and is doing everything possible to keep his client from a murder charge? If that is the case then this whole business of throwing Ianto's reputation under a bus is understandable. No one is seeing the huge chartreuse elephant in the room, because of Strutt's efforts. Which, you know, is what he is being paid for. NO ONE is asking the important question; what became of Ianto's mum? And why isn't Rhiannon asking that question?

the significance of the stain on the carpet will be revealed eventually and we shall find out exactly what happened to ianto's mum and why rhiannon isn't asking the same questions.

and well done for noticing that strutt is very much a show man using tactics of distraction to detract from the more important issues, and this will effect later proceedings

bless how much more can ianto take his relationship is different to what that other man did i hope the jury beleive him i hope his dad gose to prison for ianto sake other wise jack will kill him same as will owen

you are, of course, right. ianto's relationship with jack is very different to how it was to the other men but it's making the jury beleive that that will be the problem
