Just found this fic yesterday and have been reading it pretty much non stop; neglecting everything else because I've been glued to my computer.

This story is heartbreaking and so believable as a back story to what we know of Ianto. I keep picking up on bits of your writing that I can picture as missing episodes in canon; for some reason it's just fitting in my head which is great!

I have to say, I love how you come up with the names of some of your characters and was especially humored by Russell Davidson. Of course one of the evil characters would be named after RTD ;-) Very clever indeed.

I'm thouroughly engrossed in this story and am waiting quite impatiently for where it is going. I'm scared and excited for the remainder of this fic.

i am glad that you think it's beleiveable for ianto's back story in canon as in a way, that was the whole point of writing this story - to give ianto a backstory that i felt fit in with his canonical representation

well done for picking up on the names as you are quite correct - i do put a lot of thought into them and it's nice to see when people notice :P and of course such an evil character would be named after rtd ;P

the next part should be up on wednsday and no worries, we've got quite a wasy to go before its finished so i hope you continue with it ;P

I am so hoping that Strutt gets what's coming to him ... poor Ianto, he must be falling apart inside.

If nothing else, Strutt is persistent. I hope he will find someone to shut him up, soon. Aside it, his description of Jack at the end is the perfect picture of a reliable partner for someone who went through terrible ordeals like Ianto (strong, experienced, attentive). Can't wait for Wednesday !

indeedy we'll give him that; strutt is persistent which is a qood quality to have in a lawyer really ;P and indeed if you had been that sort of ordeal, you would want someone older and more experienced to help deal with it all ;)
