I think it's going to take quite some time for all of them to come to grips with what happened.

I can't say I'm not baffled by Strutt's last actions. I'm afraid I'm not ready to be as generous as Jack in explaining his behavior.

Let's hope Jack IS right about Lloyd though, although I somehow can't see the miserable sod just fading off into the background.

it will take a while for things to go back to how they were but at least with lloyd sort of out of the picture, they can try

in my head, strutt evolved from a very single-minded i'll do whatever i need to to win a case character to an i'll still do anything i need to to win a case but it's because i have to as opposed to because i want to character. You'll notice that from russell's testimony onwards, Strutt was a lot less gleeful in his questionning so i think him shaking ianto's hand was a way of saying, i know i shouldn't have done that but it was, essentially my job.

Great to see another chapter up, although I feel like I've been through a train wreck! Jack and the team must be shattered and shocked, although resigned to the outcome, much as Ianto is. I hope they can find some resolution in the final chapter which will allow them all to support each other and move on.

the team and jack are pretty knackered by this point. i think it's just got to the point that they just wanted it to be over one way or another and then they can hopefully move on
