Haha, my fiance and I play this all the time-- except we actually try to buy the things we think of.

Like the last time we had to buy a plunger, our first thought was "what else can we get (that we actually need and will use) that will freak out the cashier?"

I don't recall what we ended up getting.

I once had a person come through my checkout with an ovulation test, a Mother & Baby magazine and a pack of condoms. I was mightily confused!!
