Hey....I am new to LJ, and was going to post a queston/comment on your "DallasMavericks" journal, and didn't know how to do that?....can you help me out? When I join a club, do I have to ask the mediator or what? Sorry to seem too clueless! :)

i think what you did was just add it to your friends list, which allows you to monitor, or watch, the community. if you go to the link to join the community at the top of the page that says "click here", or go here it'll prompt you from there as to how to join.

in most communities you don't have to ask the maintainer unless they restrict posting access to only certain people. most, like mine, are open membership and allow posting to all who join. if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. i was confused about it when i first got into livejournal so don't worry about it, i completely understand :)
