I can sort of empathize with what you're saying, it's quite difficult to keep up let alone afford to buy every release by certain artists in that field, but I'd say there's also something very empowering about that whole CDR scene, also people I've spoke to say that if anything because of the ease of putting an album's worth of music out nowadays on CDR it makes you more conscious of the quality control aspect of what and what not to use, but yeah this isn't always the case
