Thank you, much appreciated.

I am feeling the loss of my dad who died on Christmas Eve. He loved a good parade and he was indeed a patriot [although his parents were immigrants from Europe, thus not of English extraction].

He fought in World War II. All of his brothers served in the military. All of his sisters worked in the factories making the stuff of wars during that time.

I will miss him forever. He was a great dad and I was privileged to be with him at the moment of his death. He died smiling and holding my hand.
