Sometimes I take comfort in scale. Scale of time, size, distance etc. Our sun is roughly 100 times bigger than Earth. That's big. It's bigger than 80 to 90 percent of stars in the known universe too, but there are bigger stars. For example, Rigel is about 100 times bigger than our sun. It is about 100 times bigger judged by radius. By mass or volume, much more than 100 times.
