joe and i saw my dad last night. he's in a regular room, off all of the constant iv drips and looks and sounds much better. all of these things are good things. he still has a long road to go but he's heading in the right direction. they are still figuring out the liver and kidney issues, i guess that will be more of a slower process. the real

I'm glad he is doing better! It really is hard to get parents to follow doctors' order, though. I am finding that it's like having a kid.....
