...was even closer than I thought.  I saved a link to the poll results so I could track it as it went... just went to go print out the final poll results to save 'em for posterity, and I saw that Jordan won by a mere THREE VOTES.  Yes, kittens, 3 frelling votes.

Holy reeking catbox, Batman!  Talk about a close race!
