I have come to the conclusion that...working third shift sucks ass. All hail the Goddess Caffeina! At least the hospital has a free public wifi (because a lot of sites are blocked through the work computers). I think it's time to toss in a DVD.

Just wait until you start going insane because you never see the Sun. I did, after about three months.

Thankfully, I'm just filling in on third shift for a couple days. I definitely do *NOT* want to do it long term! Pretty sunrise on my drive home this morning though....

The hospital I did clinicals at put me on PRN once I finished up. And the regular 3rd shift tech took a couple days nights off, so they had me fill in for her. Then the royal asshole had something to do with his family this weekend, so I got his 8 p.m.-8 a.m. Saturday/Sunday shift. (I'm not complaining too loudly -- it's 12 hours of my regular wage plus 20% for night shift plus 25% for weekend...that's almost time and a half!)
