Ok, so we got our visas in a very timely and organised fashion (contrary to what I thought) and within seconds of our passports being in our hot little hands, we had organised our flights home to Australia. Needless to say, there are 7 sleeps till we get home. The kids and I will home for a couple of months, Mr C will have two weeks in Aus, then

You will probably appreciate the Chinese culture more once you leave, it is now time to move on & remember the happy memories of your time there. Mum & Jayne really loved it, you lived in the best area of Beijing, Jayne was saying to her, lets go back, we could stay in a hotel around there, so much to see & do, so many places not seen, fond memories at the Shard shop & markets. It's time now for her to save for the next adventure, there will be many interesting places & things to see & do.

It's a bit of a pity your departure isn't early May (instead of early April) .. you could have gone to Festival and seen lots of people :D
