Pitocin is what makes the contractions so bad. Without Pitocin, you probably would have been okay. As for Ben's weight...I was saying that the other day to Robert. I told him how big Ben was and we estimate he'd have been about 9-9½ pounds had you made it to 40 weeks. In the last month is when you usually gain a ½ a pound a week. So yeah.

But Ben's adorable! I knew he would be and I've been waiting on pins and needles to see a picture of him. I don't think I've checked my LJ this much in a long time. Haha.

Feel better though and make sure you get lots of rest.

How's Daniel feeling about being a daddy? Is he completely in love?

Yesyes, that's what I was afraid of. Stupid Pitocin.

I can't imagine having a baby that big. In recovery, all I could say was "8 pounds???" The nurse kept laughing at me.

Yay! Thank you. He's so amazing. I still can't believe we made that little person, ya know?

Daniel has made me proud. He is being a WONDERFUL father. It warms my heart every time I look over there and see him holding him... or looking at all the pictures on the camera... ohh it's just so sweet. I haven't really been able to move around a lot, so he's been changing all the diapers. I'm very, very impressed.
