aim spammer

If you get an aim from someone named 'Wendingo'

Its not me.

don't click the link, don't do anything. Warn the account and block it.

It's not me and my system seems safe. But it seems to have datamined my buddylist.

If it's not one thing, it's another. I need a fucking break.

I had something similar happen to me a while back. It'll fade eventually, and you can only really warn people in reaction to it :/

Pretty much. I'm 90% sure MY PC isn't hacked/is safe. MY Buddylist I'm not. Or hell, all it would take is a third party friend and a smart script to know when to drop certain words and create new accounts.

I got one last night in pink text and with an ad for women's bags... I was fairly certain it wasn't you. ;-)

Just paying you back for the same bug you sent out to me!

My guess is my buddylist has been compromised. >.

Yeppers, big wuff.. I got one of those this morning.. though not for handbags..
I figured it wasn't you, so I figured I'd shoot a message back it the chance that you didn't know..

I got this last night here and didn't click the link in it or anything, asked about it on FurryMUCK of all places thinking Moonfire or those in the GC might know something about it. Granted this is the first time something like this happened to me, in the past the names were generally recognizable as spammers. Also as I have your name in my buddy list here they sent it to me while it showed you not being online according to my list.

Yeah it is 'not me' it's a second aim name that dropped the wolf.

I think it's using an old Buddylisting of mine. One that for all I know AOL lost viva a hack.

Reguardless, I apologize
