Honesty: the best policy

I must confess I didn't see this coming. Not at all. The responses I've had have astounded me. In fact, the most astounding is, "How would you feel if Marta excluded someone you liked from the MEFAs?"

I'd accept her right to run her stuff as she so desires. If she wants to ban me from this year's MEFAs, I won't object. If I've voted for someone she ( Read more... )

... so what happened? O.o

As for award show drama, hell, that's one reason I never volunteer for any type of position. People get offended over this and that, misunderstandings are made, and I'm not interested in the drama. Not to mention they take so much work O.o

So, uh, good luck with your show, whatever's happening with it. /is totally out of the loop.

Laire, I love you. I really, truly love you. Please stay out of the loop. It's better that way.

All the best,

Wendy

Dude, I am so not getting in, I've seen fan fic drama at it's worst :P All I added was my two cents as my own leader *huzzah* of my own little thing :) I hold no ill will against you or, well, anyone. Especially not concerning fan fic awards :D

Never mind, I found the earlier entry and the, well, issues. As someone who runs a club with over 600 members (on dA), I'm simply going to say this: you have to choose public or private, everyone or more-selective. You've chosen not-everybody (if I'm reading it correctly), which is your prerogative, but then other people may choose not to participate. There are clubs on dA that are what people call "elite" clubs that people choose not to participate in (even if they're invited) because they don't allow everybody in. That's life *shrugs*

That said, best of luck with your awards.

I'll accept that because it's completely fair. How could I argue with it? People have a right to say no to stuff they disagree with, and if anyone I'm friendly with - even if all the people I'm friendly with feel that taking part would be against their principles, that's fair enough.

I still love you!

That'll do me.

This matter is forgiven and forgotten. If only you weren't the only one of my detractors to show such integrity! If everyone was like you in respect of putting right the wrongs, I wouldn't have restricted the contest in the first place. There would be no drama and no problems.

If the others can do what you have done, I'll let them on straight away, no questions asked.

I'm all teared up here. Why can't they all be like you?

When they become like you, they're on. End of.
