who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning

Hi friends! I know I'm not here very much anymore but I just wanted to note that I have no plans to change my behavior here and plan to ride out the LJ-train until such a time as I/we are no longer able to.

Same goes for spn_j2_bigbang. It continues at pace, as is. I will not be migrating it or backing it up. Only fic and art links are there so all that would ( Read more... )

For feel-good music to sing and dance too, anything by ABBA would do the trick.
For light&fun on Netflix, with a touch of singing and dancing, you could try Galavant.

Dance Academy was a show I watched because I wanted to see Keiynan Lonsdale except then I enjoyed it. Pretty light except the end of S2.

Not dancing, but my soul soothing music is Carrie Newcomer. Basically think of the opposite of how Donald Trump makes you feel.

I can't give you Netflix, because i gravitate toward horror there, but over on Amazon Prime there's Happy Feet. There is not world in which Happy Feet is not a good.

"What's Up" by 4-Non Blondes. Every damned time. And almost anything by Journey. Cheesetastic, but whatever. Also really enjoy "Paradise by the Dashboard Light", Meatloaf.

Yes! KeePass.

Now you!

Is KeePass easy to use? I briefly demo-ed 1Password and it was excruciating.

Well, let's put it this way. I am firmly on the inept and uncoordinated side of the technology sliding scale. And I can use it. Just keep your database somewhere where you'll be able to find it, and don't move it. I just learned that today.

I'm watching the remake of One Day at a Time, and I'm enjoying it. Family based sitcom with Justina Machado and Rita Moreno? Oh, yes!

Feel good song: Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae.

I use Last Pass. I love it. I have it on my computer, phone and tablets, so I have access to it everywhere. I've never had a problem with it, and not only does it give me strong passwords, it remembers all those passwords that I only have to use once or twice a year or less.

I'm pretty good. Be better in a couple weeks! :D

We are sooooo close E! Cannot wait for adventures!

I'll check out Last Pass. I briefly tried 1Password and....honestly, I'd rather be hacked. It was so tedious.

Also, I met Rita Moreno in-person. :) It was many years ago, but she was lovely.

There's a good chance you've seen it already, but if you haven't, I recommend Grace and Frankie! It's so fun and light but at the same time has really human characters and situations that feel more real to me than a usual comedy show (full disclosure, comedy tv is not my genre, for the most part). The episodes are short, but there's three season. It took me almost a week to go through and I'm quite a binger, so it's substantial, but not something you'll be bogged down with for months at a time.

Right now Go Robot by the Red Hot Chili Peppers is my funky sing and dance in the office song. :)
