i think captain hook was probably the little boy in class who tried to step on bees and ants and all the bugs he found outside of class when all the other boys wouldn't let him play ball games with them, and immediately felt bad about it afterwards and tried to bury them when bringing them back to life wouldn't work

i hate it when books end, too!! the only thing that seems to work against that is reading them over and over and over again. it works for the little prince ♥
