surprises are my favorite & he knows this. he is always surprising me with gifts. yesterday he bought me a crown & star wand & two bags of lollies & i've traded in my bunny ears for my new crown for a while. royalty has ruled my daydreams lately so i watched marie antoinette & roman holiday. i need more princess movies, can you think of any?

princess movies~ errmm princess bride! (and these are a bit of a stretch but o come now) a little princess and pan's labyrinth

i've found that those classic don bluth animations are so cozy and nice to watch during the holidays, like thumbelina and anastasia (which i am actually watching right now... god i wish i was secretly a russian princess)

pan's labyrinth is such a magically dark mysterious lovely movie. i think the screaming root baby under the bed frightened me even more than the child eating monster. i was so upset with her for eating from his feast!

when i watch thumbelina & anastasia, i watch them over & over & over! meg ryan is so cute as anastasia & john cusack is magnificent. what are your favorite songs in thumbelina & anastasia?
