supernovas are terrifying! and i don't quite understand black holes, either, but they're made of nightmares, surely. have you been watching the universe too?
ps i'm sorry i've been vague lately, it's been a sad time. i think of you every time i think of fairies and i do believe you are a secret one!

hello little wendy bird,
i have added you, hope you don't mind.
when i was little i often closed my eyes and imagined what if the universe did not exist? what if all the galaxies, constellations, moons, were all a big nothing? it was such a terrifying thought, i swear i could feel my brain itching. oh i believe i might had been watching the neverending story far too often!
xx

i don't mind one bit, your journal is lovely and i think i'll add you back.
what do you mean a big nothing, though? like if we touched them they'd vanish or like we're just seeing things that aren't there?

thank you, oh but your journal is darling. ♥
oh no, i mean what if the universe did not exist at all, what if everything was just a big black nothing? but then, being a big black nothing is being something, only an empty something.
haha it is so difficult to explain, except if you try and imagine things this way it is really scary.

i've been thinking about this & galaxies
& how it makes me feel all liquid inside
when i think about anything outside of the earth.

yay! let me know if you want a different color or background

galaxies... can you believe there are 125 billion and counting? i most certainly cannot. how is that possible? and if it is, how can anyone believe we are the only intelligent life in all of them?

I have this very same thought often and it thrills me. To think that all those wonderful moments stay alive and continue forever and are not just left a mortal memory. Unfortunately - that also means the not so nice things continue as well.

does that mean we can't be certain we are the present then? how frightening

Perhaps, that is what they mean by having moments of deja vu ...xoxo

Your package is on the way - I didn't put in a note so I forgot to mention that there is sea-glass in there that I found with my mom on the beach - it's broken shards that have lived in the salty ocean for so long they are softened and foggy! ♥
