Road trip, anyone?

So I've had a new preoccupation lately, and it's a good one: I'm buying a veggie-oil powered Mercedes in the next couple weeks, and swearing off gasoline for the foreseeable future. My new car will be old, beautiful, and best of all, carbon-free: its diesel engine will have been converted to run on recycled kitchen grease. I'm so, SO excited ( Read more... )

Looks good (both physically and ideologically).

Assuming we culturally solve the current energy crisis, I'm expecting a much more diversified infrastructure, mostly using locally available resources and recycling fairly heavily.
