*sobs* I feel bad for everyone!! You have an amazing ability to make me feel for each character.

I love the voodoo mind tricks. ;) I love stories that show the Doctor's other abilities besides just screwing things up and being emotionally inept - which he is.

It sounds like the Doctor and Jack are hurdling towards problems. Jack wants Rose, and we all know the Doctor does too even if he won't admit it.

I know Rose has some questions to answer as well! I want to know those answers. ;)

Feeling bad for everyone is good! I'm really glad that's working :)

I'm glad, too, that you liked the Doctor's little bit of mind-voodoo :) He's got a lot more going for him than just getting things wrong ;) And that's what Jack loves about him. But problems on the horizon? We'll see!

Yayyyyyy! this chapter!
Year-that-wasn't flashbacks! Martha! Companions club - I want one. And the Doctor's terror at the idea was fun.
Loved the way the Doctor managed waking Jack up. And Rose being tactful/devious = always good.
And you've untangled some of the emotional mess and laid the groundwork for untangling more - I'm glad. That bit between the Doctor and Rose was sweet.
I'm rather looking forward to the Doctor's take on why, exactly, Rose's second universe was so wrong for her. *is curious*

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked this chapter too. It's getting a little bit complicated in some ways, with lots of other things coming in, but I hope it will all start to come together in a chapter or two.

As for the Doctor's reaction to Rose's universe being wrong for her - you'll get it soon.
