I just..... my brain's not working. Too much to assimilate, as it were. I'm not real sure what my reaction is, except shock.
Looks like Blizzard has all but committed suicide, as this post in
wow_ladies shows. I guess me and mine will be finding a different game to spend our time and money on, if this goes through. I can't even begin to articulate the

In this case, standing on the high ground is dry and lonely... but I'm not going to undermine what I'm finally beginning to get through to him. I have to live the example, if I'm going to show that he can trust what I say to be true.
Sometimes...... it really, really sucks :P

.....I'll put Naly to rest in the secret nook she and her husband still visit, when they want a quiet bit of snuggling and private conversation. It's the least I can do for her; I know Jas will put Naly's beloved Warlock to sleep beside her.
The thought, though, makes me cry. Strange.. crazy... but I can't help crying over it.

I'm afraid I have to agree with one person's assessment of the situation: "I always knew WoW would die someday, but I never dreamed I'd witness Blizzard committing suicide..."
That puts it more eloquently than I can (at least, until I've had a chance to get some sleep).

How about just not posting on the forum? I mean was it something you did a lot of anyway?
I don't get it and as it stands I'm not going anywhere. I don't use the forum and I don't get why it matters.

ETA: For us, there is no choice. You're pointed to the forums for technical support, for customer service.. the GM's in game will send you to the forums to answer your questions. So it's not voluntary - in the case of tech support and customer service, it's MANDATORY. And they're not giving us a choice in whether or not to show our real life details. That's the problem, and, as I said, it's only the beginning...

Do some of these services give you the option to hide that? Of course. I just think a mass exodus is a bit premature. I doubt it'll even scratch the surface. Blizzard has MILLIONS of paying customers, most of which are going to stay on. If you're still having fun with the game, I'd stick with it. I wasn't, but that's just my refusal to do dailies and sit for ten hours TRYING to raid or do heroics.
If someone on the internet REALLY wanted to find you, it'd be a lot easier than you think, having your name or not. That's just my two cents. I don't mean any offense by them.
