Sister's moving to Chicago, the summer heat finally descended upon us, and 75% of my friends are going to law-school! WHAT.

Note: If Fern Gully looks all tempting there on the Netflix Instant Queue, don't fall for it's siren song (sung by Tim Curry, naturally). It's not nearly as good as you remember.

There is something I don't like about Ferngully, but I have no idea what it is. I'm sure whatever it was, it's even worse now that the moral is starting to approach "well, duh" status.

Actually, doesn't it have a lot of tone problems? Like "Ha ha, Wacky Fruit Bat is so funny! Because his brain has been destroyed by evil science experiments." (And who would even do that? When this guy was researching/keeping a vampire bat colony at Cornell, he gave them a live chicken on Sundays and holidays and didn't put wires in them.)

Why did they give the kangaroo a penis?
