you shouldnt make fun of other cultures because they are different from your's. in my anthropology class we call that being ethnocentric. so basically youre a bad person

&yay for azn fellowships..... it's exactly like that here. i didn't even realize that the fellowship i joined was like, 95% asian until people came up to me and said, "we're so glad to have some diversity in here!" so yup, i'm one of two mexicans in a group of 200. i love it though. have fun

The girl who is going to hook me up with the Book of Mormon thinks it'll be funny and she told her Mormon group that there was someone in her hall who was going to be a Mormon for halloween, and they all thought it was awesome.
There's something cool about contributing to diversity, which as a white male, I haven't done a whole lot of in my life :)

i've been trying to find a christian club, too, but most of them are asian! i went to two clubs that weren't exactly directed to asians, but they were weird... one's founded by a cult church and the other was just liberal. maybe we could go to an asian club together and be the only white people :D
Hey. Yeah, I've been going to the Edge which is about 90 percent Asian but everyone is really friendly and they like to reach out to everyone, they don't have an Asian specific agenda or anything. There are other white folks there too and I never feel uncomfortable or anything. my aim is goodtimesnackbar and I'm on thefacebook (everyone join!), but yeah I'd totally go check out some clubs with you. The edge usually has a college group thing on friday nights which is awesome, but this friday I'm going to the CHP dance thingy. good times. Talk to ya later.
