My son usually made a big deal of wanting a turkey for the major holidays- Thanksgiving and Christmas. One year one of my co-workers at the Sheriff's office actually gave us a wild one. Lori, my wife, wasn't thrilled when she saw the thing sitting on the kitchen table.
[At least that got a chuckle from the man. Lori had been so mad at him! A feathered, dead, bird sitting right on her kitchen table... of course they all had a good laugh about it later. With a taste size of white meat cut off Rick offered it to the teenager with a grin.] Tell me what you think.
