This article scares me.

As much as I think sometimes that it would be neat to live in another country, I am VERY glad that I was born and live in the United States.

I hope that on the subject of free speech, we never change. I pity those who are.

Certain types of hate speech, especially those that can lead directly to violence, are illegal in the US. It doesn't sound like this article contained what we would consider inciting violence, but if it was, it could be considered illegal as well.
