rams spawned last night...by thursday they should hatch. by next monday, they should be free swimming. this time, i wont put the fry in a breeder net. instead, they will be transfered to the 10 gallon with the tiny internal filter. tank will be half full for a week after transfer, then will be completely filled as the fry continue to grow. by three

3 months!?! Wow, I thought they would grow faster than that.

they grow pretty quickly, but so that they are sexable and more colorful, most rams are sold about 3 months old. before that, they are really hard to tell apart

They only get a couple inches long as adults anyway, how big are they at 3 months?

about full sized. these guys are short bodied, not regular rams (aka angel rams, balloon rams). they are smaller than the normal guys. all of my estimates are based on normal rams.

there are so many wigglers :)
