Being Bound, she's had the opportunity to make her room more like her own. The bare walls and lack of decoration had been almost appalling; now, the walls are covered with decor that reminds her more of one of the places she likes to frequent after pulling off a successful job

"Always," he says calmly. "Part of me charm." John glances around and notices a small closet by the door. He shrugs off his suit jacket and hangs it in the closet, then steps forward, standing just a bit too close into Clara's personal space.

She puts her hands on her hips, tracking his movements as he approaches her.

"A confident man," she replies, the corners of her mouth twitching slightly. "I like that."

"You don't know the half of it," John says with a smirk. He slips his hand along the back of her neck and draws her in for a long, crushing kiss.

He tastes like beer and cigarettes.

She opens her mouth to respond and finds it occupied with his, arms falling to her sides as she nearly melts against him.

If she closes her eyes and concentrates, there's also the faint saltiness of oysters on his tongue.
