Selections from the UBERPLAYLIST

It's almost time for me to start packing up things for Japan... which means it's also time for me to think about my listening choices on my long flight there. My iPod won't last the 20-some hours of travel time, so I'll have to be old-school and burn a CD.

So I figure I'll pimp my random music choices while I'm at it!

Made in Japan by Pato Fu
Cute pop song... by a Brazilian band (and YES, it's in Japanese).

Ambienta by Orange Range
Awesome instrumental. Really.

Thunder Whales Picnic by the Pillows
Probably my favorite song of theirs... also an instrumental. It just makes me want to... defeat robots or have a really dangerous outdoor lunch.

Something to Look Forward to by Spoon
Because I have something to look forward to...

Magic%20of%20Love by TOo's
Opening theme from Mahoujin Guruguru... it was the craziest anime ever and this song sorta follows in that tradition.

Arigato by Tension
Chinese pop... I find it funny because it sounds like they only say "arigato" because it rhymes with more things than the Chinese equivalent.

Waiting for October by Polaris
DO YOU REMEMBER THE ADVENTURES OF PETE & PETE?? This is from that show TwwT;.

B-DASH (Ver HANAGOE) by Tongari Kids
I heard this song in this video, which dezychan1 showed me, and then she kindly sent the song too. SUPAR MARIOOOOO!!11 It's hyper and awesome.

On the Other Side of the World by Kupek
Cute little song! The artist is also a REAL artist.

Arritake no ai de by Gackt
Ahahaha I saw the PV for this and decided it was fricking brilliant. I had to rip this from the PV because I was too lazy to actually go and find it.

Maho by Soup
Japanese street performers! A lovely little song. (And another one I ripped from a video >_>.)

Ether by Plastic Tree
This is one of my favorite songs ever, but I can't seem to find the words to describe it... Just listen to it before I cry.

Okay, that's enough for now. I'm actually putting a lot more songs on the CD (thank god for MP3 CD players), but I need to get ready to brave the tropical downpour (in New England? Wtf?) for shopping.

UPDATE: Dezy sent me the REAL version of that Super Mario song... and I added a bunch of %20's to make sure the links actually work.
