"You didn't expect me to die on land, did you, mate?" Jack Sparrow stood on the surface of the water, staring down at his own body. Will followed his gaze, and saw a familiar-looking bloodstain across the corpse's chest.
"Was it Barbossa?"
"No, though I'm sure he'll find out soon enough and come to claim the Pearl." He sighed. "Scarlet hit me from behind, and Giselle stabbed me."
