[Drabble] Time Slip Jung Yunho [9/?]

Jul 03, 2012 23:55

9.

Surprisingly or not, Kyungtak found Yunho wandering around like a lost puppy. He had been on his way to the Hong Residence to find Dr. Jin and decided to take a more direct route, cutting through a rather abandoned part of town.

At this time of day, most honest men were hurrying home. Even dishonest men hid themselves in the shadows, waiting for the sun to completely set. There was pretty much no one in Hanyang who would be loitering in that part of town and at this hour. Excuse him, Kyungtak really means 'no one of Hanyang' because Jung Yunho was definitely the exception to many rules.

"You!" Kyungtak calls and he's pleased at the immediate acknowledgement. "What are you doing here? Finally indulging in the vices of lesser men?"

"Kyungtak," Yunho begins. While the officer sends him a hard glare, he knows it wouldn't change the outsider's mind. Kyungtak's horse whines fiercely and Yunho moves very obviously to the side where the hooves can't hope to reach him. "-Kyungtak-ssi, uh, my lord, this lowly subject is very humbly lost."

While Yunho's accent was strange in itself, his impression of their speech was even more bizarre. It was awkward and harsh on the ears.

"You're lost," Kyungtak echoes in disbelief. He spurs his horse into an easy trot. "Follow me, you directionless fool."

"Laughs the person who was born and raised here," Yunho scowls, walking along side the horse.

"Hanyang's not that big," Kyungtak argues.

"And it takes less than a day to get from Hanyang to China," Yunho mutters.

"To China? How do you get there in less than a day?" Kyungtak asks, genuinely curious. If Dr. Jin was some medical genius, who knows what expertise Jung Yunho was hiding.

"You fly of course," Yunho says.

"You-!" Kyungtak glowers. He was being played for a fool! Giving a sharp cry, Kyungtak urges his horse into a moderate run.

"Wait, my lord! Kyungtak! Hey!"

Ignoring the fading cries, Kyungtak doesn't bother to look back until he reaches the Hong Residence. Instead, he enters the residence, greets his future mother-in-law and waits. Sure enough, the gasping man stumbles through the gates a few moments later.

"You bastard!" were Yunho's first words.

"Hn, close," Kyungtak hums in satisfaction. "Son of a concubine is a better description."

But before Yunho could respond, Dr. Jin and Young Rae walk in. Kyungtak immediately turns his attention to them. While amusement was one thing, he knew he still had a job to do and what exactly was Dr. Jin doing with his fiance so late at night?

A/N: Next part will be with all the fuuuun cholera! Of course, cholera cannot just have one part! It will have MANY! All the diarrhea/vomiting goodness! :D (<- I'm only half serious)

Traveling was actually not that bad today. I feel much better now! Thanks for the care and concern! <3 We just went around some historical sites and climbed down a mountain. Remember that Rooftop Prince scene in the cable car going up a mountain? I got to ride a much steeper and smaller version of that. China has some beautiful places if you're ever able to go!

Finally finished watching ep 12. THE FEELS. THE-okay no spoilers, but seriously script writers, don't break my heart to many times. T^T LOLs at the hand scene though.

I will be gone for a bit, but no fret! :) I'll be back soon! <3
