Once there was a small dream.
No one really knew who had dreamt it. Such a tiny dream it was.

It had started out as a game.
At least they think (hope, pray, beg) it started out as a game.
A game they called Wonderland.

The little dream thought,
“I don’t want to disappear like this. How can I make people dream me?”

They remember being regular children once. Playing together and letting the summer sun settle into their skin.
It had been so many years ago though. They don’t remember the scene so sharply anymore. In fact, they don’t remember themselves that well, only their mad distorted self of now.
They do remember meeting a man, an old man with a frightening smile. They think he called himself Lee Soo Something or was it something Soo Man or was it-?
He said they were perfect to play the game and all five perked up. A game? They all loved games!
Wonderland, the old man said. Create your own Wonderland.
The five boys frowned with deep-set pouts. That sounded like playing house and only girls played house.
The old man laughed eerily, but the children didn’t think much of it.
Are you scared then?
No! The bravest called out. I will play this Wonderland game and I will win!
I will too, the oldest one said. The bravest gave the oldest a heart-melting smile. They linked their hands together.
I will play too, rest chimed. I will play if my friends play.

For a while, the dream pondered on this issue until it finally reached a solution.

When they awoke, none of them remembered this tiny, tiny dream they dreamed together. Maybe if they did, things wouldn’t have turned out like this.
Jung Yunho, a woodcutter, might have returned home.
Park Yoochun, a traveling minstrel, might have lived.
Kim Jaejoong, the flower of the woods, might have loved.
Kim Junsu, the sun and song of his town, might have been free.
And Shim Changmin, the sharpest of them all, is still trying and trying and trying to save himself and all of his friends.
Save them all from their self created Wonderland.

A/N: …I’m sorry. I had my whole iTunes on shuffle and this came up. I just…I just had to. The next chapter will come quite soon for this. I’m almost done with it.
