In Madrid

Jul 16, 2008 12:18

After five hours of driving, we finally found our hotel in Madrid for about the next two weeks and crashed instantly. It's gorgeous here - so much different than England, even when we're barely a day away - and the Joneses definitely splurged on this first hotel. Not that I mind ( Read more... )

I never made it to Madrid, so I'm kind of jealous. :) I did get to Bilbao and San Sebastian, but Madrid sounds like a whole different level of fun.

Is Feliks the agent or the makeup artist? Just remember, you never have to buy anything. ;)

It is. I'm actually surprised at how this trip is turning out. It's nothing like I expected, seeing as Feliks is dominating the show. And yes, he's the makeup artist. Toris is the agent.

Well if he's the makeup artist, he must be knowledgeable about fashion! It can't be that bad, if he's giving you tips about stuff. :)

Sweden's one of the last countries on our list. It'll be a few months before we get up north.

Because shopping is a terrible horrible occupation invented by Satan. I will elaborate further in a few minutes.

Nice try. Maybe in a little while.

((I have to be able to draw before I can post pictures, and I won't have access to my tablet until August ^^; Still, glad you're liking it!))

Oh wow, you're in Sweden too? I just moved here, living in Östersund for now but moving down to Linköping at the end of the month with my fiancé. How interesting!

Why do people keep asking me for pictures

Feliks is a slave driver when shopping I swear to God. And no. We are two completely different types of man, same sexual orientations be damned.

((Antonio is in Southern California, unfortunately. He will not be appearing in this sequel.))

Sorry for not answering the last post! The last film of Harry Potter has caught me.

I never go to Madrid, but I know there is a good place to stay (it's the capital! xD). You can explore... the Retiro's park, which has an special statue (the Fallen Angel). Or you can go to Chueca.

And I wish you luck, of course!

Wow, Spain sounds like it'll be amazing! My friend Hannah took a school trip there earlier this year and brought back some pretty amazing pictures. From what she's told me, I have to recommend looking at Gaudi's mosaics, they're absolutely beautiful. Sorry I wasn't able to comment on the last blog, I have an upcoming history exam on the events leading up to WWI >.< So many dates to remember... As for shopping with Feliks, he is the manager's boyfriend, right? From my experience taking my younger brothers shopping, they will take all sorts of measures to hurry up whoever's dragged them with, so I don't think you have much to worry about ^_^

Mel isn't blogging with me today cause she's tied up in the corner as punishment for hacking my password ^^ I'll let her go before 2012 though ^-^

((Oh, I'm looking forward to hearing about the shopping trip *evil grin* Poor poor Arthur... xD And Gaudi's mosaics are really pretty, don'tcha think?))

I'll remember that for tomorrow, as well. There is just so much to explore in big cities. I love that.

You have never met this man. It is like all of the worst parts about shopping with women in a valley girl accent and cutoffs.

I should hope so. Trust me, chaining up your younger relatives does not go over as well as one would think.

((It'll be up in a few minutes :P Also, in a reply to one of your other comments, fkdlaarwe why did you read this out loud that's silly I love it))

Yeah, me and my family have been going up to Duluth during the summer for the past five years or so, and there's always something new to see ^_^

>.<;;; I sympathize with you and offer my condolences.

But you have to admit, it does keep them out of trouble for a while ^_^

((Well, Mel likes it when I read stories aloud, cause I do all sorts of different voices and stuff. Plus, she doesn't have to look it up on her own time then. I told her I found a really funny Hetalia USUK fic and she asked me to read it to her. It was late at night, mom wasn't up, so I did. Almost woke up one of our other sisters though... x3))
