Between being in a foreign country, changing cities, and server downtime, I haven't had any chance at all to update this, and I apologise

Hey don't worry about it, lets be real, while travelling, who the hell has time to go to the internet? XD Also, too bad that Alfred didn't get the callback but judging by what people said about him being really carefree and oblivious he probably took it well right? I'm really not a big Alfred fan, I'm just here because a friend (big fan) suggested it to me and heck, I'm bored, but so far this seems pretty interesting, so I will probably stick around. That's why I'm a little curious about Alfred's reaction to rejection so, How did he really took it? That aside, damn I'm so jealous! I always wanted to go to Spain! I speak spanish so being there would be a piece of cake to me but oh well...too poor for travelling to Europe XD Good luck with the rest of the trip! ((God, I feel weird writing like this :3))
He did. It was his first foreign audition, so he didn't really expect to get it. He just kind of shrugged it off and started packing with a 'better luck next time' thought.
It's lovely, although I'd probably enjoy it more if I understood Spanish. I hate to say this, but I can't wait to get to France where I at least have a basic understanding of the language.
Arthur, you're alive! I was wondering, but with LJ being so fritzy lately, I figured it was just life keeping you from updating.:) I'm sad that Al didn't get a callback; I was really looking forward to seeing him on TV.
Back-country places are the best. The people are nicer than in the cities, I've found, and you get a lot more of the cultural flavor too!
I'm glad I caught this update. We're leaving for England in a few days, and I was getting a little worried that I'd miss it. I hope you're having a good time, now that the awkwardness has worked itself out. (Though I wonder if Feliks is really as bad as you make him out to be...) Enjoy Spain while you're there!
We're going to be spending time in Southend with my relatives (second cousins on my mom's side), and then up to Birmingham and Lichfield for a few days to visit with a friend of my fiancé's. It may be our last trip out of Sweden for a while, 'cause when we get back it's time for the fall term.
Now I really want to meet Feliks. Like, just hang out with him for a few hours or something. And the rest of you all, too! I know it's a ways off, but I'm wondering what your plans will be when you get to Scandinavia. :)
yeah, I don't understand that. I may know some spoken Spanish, but written Spanish is just completely over my head, although it is very nice to listen to. Very soothing.
I just stumbled upon your blog recently on recommendation from a friend of mine, who was a big fan of Split Log back in the day. She knows I'm a Europhile, so she thought I would enjoy reading about your travels.
If you wouldn't mind, would you pass on my condolences to Alfred for not getting the callback? I did theatre in high school, and it always sucked not getting the part I wanted back then; I can't imagine the disappointment for an actor not getting a part.
((Hi Caroline! I've been kind of obsessively stalking your stories on the Kink Meme and on ff.net for a while. I'm the crazy Alabama!Anon who left a half-incoherent anonymous review on Complicated Shadow a few weeks back, haha.))
Well, I'm glad that I haven't bored you yet. I hope I don't disappoint.
He actually didn't take it too badly, surprisingly. I guess he was as tired of our hotel room as I was. I think he took it as a learning experience, since this was his first foreign audition.
((fjdkahfdk I literally threw my hands in the air and made gargling noises when I saw that. It's so nice to meet you for real! How did you find my stuff on the kink meme I thought I hid it well
Either way, I'm glad you're on board and de-anoned! I'd been wondering about you :) Don't be shy about commenting more in the future! Also, where in AL do you live?))
I'm sure you won't! I'm just glad I got here before there was too much excitement.
Will you mainly be the one posting on this blog, or will Alfred pop up every once in a while?
((Well, I'm not exactly sure if everything I think is yours is actually yours, but I really love your writing style. With Complicated Shadow, in particular, I had to see if it had been deanoned because it took place in Alabama and that was just awesome. And right now I just finished reading Rule Three and I'm in the middle of Green and Blue and I adore the fact that you're writing in the South again. Your descriptions of the atmosphere and the setting are lovely.
I actually live in Auburn just a few miles from Auburn University's campus. I'm gonna be starting my last year of graduate school here in a couple of weeks.))

So far, this is very true. The Spanish people are honestly the best.
What parts of England are you visiting? I would say I'd help you out, but since things are the way they are, I'm simply curious.
Feliks is getting better. It just takes a while to get used to him.
